In this 4 week series, Ashley Smith of Into The Heart will introduce you to a well rounded and deeply transformative sampling of some of the classic Kundalini practices. Each week will focus on a new area of the body, aura, or magnetic field.
An uplifting blend of spiritual and physical practices, that may be a little different than what you may have experienced at your gym or local yoga studio.
Kundalini Yoga tonifies and strengthens the nervous system and activates the master glands in the brain. A major focus is placed on the breath, sacred sound currents, and dynamic movements that activate and strengthen the organs and the systems of the body.
Additional benefits of this practice may include building physical vitality and flexibility as well as flexibility of the mind and emotional states. Kundalini yoga techniques balance hormones, ease anxiety and boosts creativity.
Whether you are a seasoned practitioner or brand new to the practice, I sincerely encourage you to have an experience of Kundalini Yoga for yourself. It will add depth to your existing practice and to your life.
WHAT TO EXPECT
WEEK 1 (June 5th): CLEARING + CALIBRATING
Focus on clearing and calibrating the physical body through postures that align and open the spine. Our meditations will be centered around stress reduction and heart opening.
WEEK 2 (June 12th): CONNECTING TO YOUR NAVEL POWER
This week is all about coming into our place of power- at the center of our being- our navel point! In the Yoga tradition, the navel center is linked to the third chakra and the element of fire, which absorbs and purifies all obstacles. and serves as fuel for the fire of transformation.
We will be working with a powerful and energizing breath and a meditation to open us up to more abundance, and prosperity!
WEEK 3 (June 19th): AWAKENING THE HEART
Our practice will include cooling and calming breathwork, before opening our hearts and exploring our magnetic field through dynamic movement, mantra, and meditation.
WEEK 4 (June 26th): EXPERIENCE YOUR HIGEST SELF
This week we expand into and experience our Highest Self through a meditative and balancing blending of breath, movement, and mantra practices.
