I'm very excited to be offering this 6-week beginner class series beginning January 11th. Each week we will have fun exploring the basic concepts of Nia designed especially if you are new to Nia. Experienced Nia dancers also welcome!

Nia combines the expressiveness of dance, the power of martial arts and the body awareness of the healing arts. It is practiced barefoot to a variety of soul-stirring music, stimulating and integrating your mind, body emotions and spirit.

Nia is based on creating a loving relationship with the body by following The Body's Way- the innate intelligence of the body, making it adaptable and safe for any fitness level.

Who is your Higher Self? Simply- your Higher Self is your connection to Divine intelligence. This is your inner being, your essence, your light. When you are connected to and living as your Higher Self, you feel guided in your soul purpose and supported by the Universe!

Laying down and using a simple breathing pattern- one inhale into the belly, another inhale into the chest, and an exhale- you will enter into an altered state where deep healing can take place. Our thoughts on sex, money and power stem from this center. Our sense of self, boundaries, passion and pleasure reside in our Svadhisthana chakra. 

You’ll be guided through a healing journey that will assist you in clearing and supporting this chakra. A tremendous amount of energy and creativity reside here.

-A safe space to invite and welcome our shadows. 

-A safe space to invite and tend to the wounds we hide/carry.

- Shamanic healing/ release through journeying and pathwork.

Limited to 8 participants as we will be “diving deep” and want to make sure everyone has enough time, space and attention. This will be powerful!

WHAT TO EXPECT:

In a safe and supportive space we will embark on a healing known as “sit and sift.” 

This will include: 

Shamanic Pathwork and Journeying—

We will embark on storytelling and movement to share both our wounds and access our power. 

We will enter the silence to sit with our inner shadows and make peace with our fumbles.

We will practice ways to befriend the places we are afraid of.

We’ll explore the gifts of Animal Medicine and calling on our power allies.

We will explore our own “Inner medicine.” 

Journeying—this is the keystone of our gathering.

As a group we will enter the journey space during each meeting. 

You will be guided through a series of healing journeys to access the deeper aches and integrate your own personal powers. 

There will be soul work for you in between sessions, both written and ritual. You will be able to decide how deep you wish to go. Support and feedback will be available for you throughout. 

A private Facebook group will be available for you to check in and express questions, insights and support

Pranic Healing is a simple, powerful & effective system of non-touch energy healing. Physical contact is not required because the practitioner is working on the energy body and not directly on the physical body. The energy body surrounds and interpenetrates the physical body.

This meditation + group healing will take place as you relax in Shavasana. A relaxing guided meditation will play as Rachael provides a group healing session that will balance body, and mind while clearing stagnant energy.

SOLSTICE BREATHWORK JOURNEY w/Christina Echevarria

Together with intention, and the power of the breath we will honor the dark and allow the potent energy of the death/rebirth cycle to clarify and catalyze your next stage of transformation.

Christina will guide you through a two-part Pranayama Breathwork Meditation taught by her teacher, David Elliott.

This simple practice that’s been used for thousands of years. There are many variations to Pranayama yoga breathing, but the essential technique you will experience is…

  • Lay down on your back, close your eyes and breath deeply through your mouth for a while. (There’s two stages in the inhale — once into the stomach and once more into the chest before you exhale through the mouth.)

  • The way it works, it gets the energy moving through your body and helps your mind settle down. It stimulates the energy meridians in your body, and helps you release stagnant energy in different parts of your energy field. Most people feel the effects of the breathing viscerally in their body and energy within minutes.

One benefit of an ‘active meditation’ practice is it really helps you let go of the mental activity since you have something to focus on.

Facilitated by Jessica Juliano, Life + Money Coach. Jess + Nik is a life coaching business founded by two sisters searching for a more meaningful way of life after the loss of their father in early 2017.

The shock and grief of losing someone we love hurts, a lot. We find ourselves asking, “Is this normal? Do other people feel this way?”

As time goes by, the way we grieve changes. The impact of loss shows up in different ways.

The mission of this circle is to bring together those who’ve lost someone they love so we can share our stories and support each other. It’s not to relive past trauma, but to honor exactly where we are today, and let that be okay.

Discussion topics for this circle will include our current struggles, how to get the support we need, and how we keep the relationship with our loved one going. 

**Attendees are not required to speak. Observers are also welcome :)

No matter where we are in our journey, we’re all still capable of living full complete lives. So let’s keep living, loving, and smiling, together.

Pregnant? Curious about Doulas? Wondering how a Birth + Postpartum Doula can assist you and your partner?

We are hosting a FREE information session on DOULA SUPPORT. Come meet your local birth + postpartum doula, Rachael Nayder informally without making any commitments toward hiring.  

Feel free to come alone or bring partners, friends, grandmothers-to-be, and any others who might attend your birth or who would like information about doulas and the support they provide. Children are also welcome!  

During this Meet the Doula session, Rachael will be prepared to answer any questions you may have. Even if you do not have questions, it may benefit you to hear questions from others present that you may have not thought about! 

Expect a short meditation at the beginning, and some essential oils to enhance your visit. 

Some topics may include (will vary depending on the questions you have)...

What is a doula? What does a doula do and not do?
What is the difference between a doula and a midwife?
What are the potential benefits of having a doula?

Women’s Circle is offered as a safe space for women, and folks who identify as women, to come together in community and share from the heart.

As we gather together we hold space for each of us to be our authentic selves, embody our power, and celebrate our self-worth. We will be using the Native American tradition of passing the talking stick, breathing techniques of the yogic tradition, and meditation, as well as some gentle movements depending on the needs of the group.

What are the benefits of the Gong Meditation?

Yogi Bhajan is the main teacher who brought gong meditation to the U.S. Kundalini yoga really focuses on purification of the subconscious. The Gong affects the physical nervous system, not just hearing it through the ears, but the sensation of feeling it on the skin. Sound travels and the body picks up sound. Sometimes it’s called a gong bath. It’s a cleansing process for the subconscious mind.

The gong activates the parasympathetic nervous system -- the resting, digesting nervous system. In our modern lives we are typically in fight or flight mode (sympathetic nervous system). The Gong meditation supports the nervous system to easily get back into the space of ease and peace.

Breathwork is an ancient healing modality that has been used by humans for thousands of years to access non-ordinary states of consciousness, experience deep emotional, physical and energetic healing and receive guidance from the spiritual realms.

During a Breathwork Healing Circle, you will be held in a sacred space as you use the breath to open your energy centers, move through areas that feel "stuck" or "blocked", connect to spiritual guidance and your innermost self, raise your vibration, and expand your awareness.


Christina facilitates sessions using a simple two-part pranayama technique as taught by her teacher David Elliott ( https://www.davidelliott.com). Through the breath, you will experience your body’s own healing intelligence and feel a movement of energy in the form of vibration and other bodily sensations.

Through the breathing one may clear emotional and energetic blockages, soothe stress, feel joy and bliss, open the heart, receive guidance, activate intuition, connect to Spirit, experience profound love and connection, awaken creativity...and so much more. Every experience with the breath may be different, and every experience is exactly what is needed in that moment for healing and wholeness.

We will look at ways to nourish ourselves, and connect to our inner wisdom.

In these woman-centered gatherings, we will use the breath, focus, sound and guided meditation to ease the mind, deep dive into ourSELF, bring the unconscious into consciousness, and clear out what no longer serves us from the energetic body, allowing us to move into a more harmonious state.

Sometimes it’s called a gong bath. It’s a cleansing process for the subconscious mind.

Kundalini Yoga Intro Series: Week 4

In this 4 week series, Ashley Smith of Into The Heart will introduce you to a well rounded and deeply transformative sampling of some of the classic Kundalini practices. Each week will focus on a new area of the body, aura, or magnetic field.

An uplifting blend of spiritual and physical practices, that may be a little different than what you may have experienced at your gym or local yoga studio. 

Kundalini Yoga tonifies and strengthens the nervous system and activates the master glands in the brain.  A major focus is placed on the breath, sacred sound currents, and dynamic movements that activate and strengthen the organs and the systems of the body.

Additional benefits of this practice may include building physical vitality and flexibility as well as flexibility of the mind and emotional states. Kundalini yoga techniques balance hormones, ease anxiety and boosts creativity.

Whether you are a seasoned practitioner or brand new to the practice, I sincerely encourage you to have an experience of Kundalini Yoga for yourself. It will add depth to your existing practice and to your life.

Come learn about the energies of this Summer Solstice and align with the cycles of Nature. Connect to your own inner strength and wisdom as we work with these energies in a conscious way.  

We will move through our *Kali Natha Yoga practice with a deeper awareness and then integrate all of this in an extended savasana accompanied by the Himalayan Singing Bowls. 

This is a great opportunity to lay the foundation for the next few months.
