Curiosity NOT Judgment

What would happen if we replaced our judgments with curiosity?

Let’s practice shifting the way we pay attention to ourselves by meeting the various “selves” of our inner state with a listening, interested, and curious attitude.

The more we learn about something, the more we open ourselves up to different points of view, and the more we ask questions, the more truths and wisdom we can learn.

This is also true with the many “parts” of ourselves.

Most of us have strong opinions about what we encounter within ourselves, favoring some things, disliking others wanting them to go away. When we avoid or push away our discomfort we also avoid our opportunity to heal and grow.

Can you play with the notion that every part of us has a reason for being.

Can you practice listening to what it might need, or be hoping for?

This compassionate understanding supports the possibility of transformation, creativity, more ease and healing.
