Small is the New Big

With the vast and complex challenges in the world it’s easy to be discouraged.

The change I wish to see and make in the world can often feel futile and out of reach. That is, until I remember that all true, lasting change is made one small step at a time. It’s the tiny, everyday small choices and actions that can make the biggest impact.

This is a practice not perfection.

This requires a commitment to the rituals, habits and routines that keep me centered and aligned to what it is I care about most.

Recommit daily and go slowly.

The change you seek to make can feel small indeed, but it all ripples.

One interaction.

One act of care.

One person.

As Adrienne Maree Brown says, “Small is good. Small is all.”
