Make Your Art

Make your art.

Leave your imprint.

Allow what's on your heart to serve as your muse.

Listen closely.

What does it care about most?

Do. Be. Say the thing.

Your art is your specific contribution to the world, or simply to your world.

It can be your poetry.

Your kindness.

How you listen.

Your journey.

It's your unique expression.

Make your art not for the applause or the likes.

But because it matters.

It matters because you matter.

It matters because it's the generous and kind thing to do.

More kindness and generosity is needed.

You may never know how your art will impact someone.

Perhaps that's not your business.

Your business is to get it out.

Your business is to create what makes things better.

And if your fortunate, what you create will find someone for whom it's meaningful.

Not necessarily meaningful to everyone but to someone.

Go make your art.

Start where you are.

Do work you're proud of.

Trust the process.

Then, let go and enjoy yourself.
